As members of the Jamaica Tree Growers Association, tree growers and land owners will derive benefits in developing and managing all types of forest and tree cover, whether on large or small holdings through:

• Promotion of establishment and management of trees for various purposes;
• Advice on sustainable forest management and development;
• Fostering of environmentally responsible land use and best practices;
• Access to research and education in agro- and urban forestry;
• Maintenance of an inventory of private forests and resources;
• Exploration of competitive markets for forest and tree products;
• Representing private forestry interests, nationally and internationally.
